I’m in New York this week, promoting The New Depression. On Monday, I was on Squawk Box (at 6:30 am). I was interviewed by Andrew Sorkin and Becky Quick. Please check it out. Here’s the link:

  1. Mr. Duncan:

I am about half-way through The New Depression. It is excellent and very well researched. I question what to make of the fact that according to the Flow of Funds Accounts (published June 7 by the Federal Reserve) the total Credit Market Debt Outstanding is continuing to expand. Isn’t that at odds with the central premise of the book? How should I view that data?
